What does Fairtrade mean?
Fairtrade is a certification that provides a fair price to farmers. It ensures stable prices, decent working conditions and the empowerment of farmers and workers around the world. We use only Fairtrade coffee as it is an ethical choice which matters to us.
What is ISO 14001 Certified?
ISO 14001 is a global standard for sustainability. We operate our business according to the ISO14001 standards which assures our customers that we’re actively managing our environmental impact and striving for continuous improvement, wherever possible.
What is a B Corp?
Certified B Corporations meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability. At Sprout Coffee, we are using the power of business to support communities, alleviate poverty, address climate change and create a great place to work.
How much coffee do we receive?
We’ll make sure that you never run out of stock.
We’ll deliver enough coffee and chocolate to cover your required usage based on the number of staff in your office.
How many cups of coffee do I get from a 1kg bag of Fairtrade coffee?
Approximately 80 cups of coffee per kg bag.
What if I need more coffee?
We’ll ensure that you always have enough Fairtrade coffee and chocolate on hand.
If, for some reason, you should run out, we’ll be straight there to top you up.
Can I order a different blend of coffee?
We provide you with our popular and high quality Fairtrade House Blend, however feel free to speak to us about using other blends if you’d prefer. Changing the blend may alter your price per cup, depending on which blend you would like.
What power do I need for this coffee machine?
Just 2 x standard 10amp power points – one for the machine and one for the milk fridge.
How often do you come to our office?
You choose the level of service you would like from either daily or weekly.

We collect the coffee grounds to remove waste going to landfill. Doing all that we can to minimise our impact on the environment is important to us and guides all of our decisions and business practices.
We provide you with a compact bench top bin into which staff can dispose of used coffee grounds. We empty the grounds as part of our daily or weekly clean.
What do you do with the coffee grounds?
We turn them into compost.
Will my machine be carbon offset?
Yes. We offset 100% of our energy consumption.
How do you carbon offset a machine?
We use carbon credits to offset the energy used by the machine, thereby supporting the protection of Tasmanian rainforests.
Does the machine froth milk automatically?
Yes, the machine pours perfectly frothed and textured milk straight into your cup every time.
Can we use alternative milks in the machine?
Yes, you can use full cream and skinny milk in the machine.
If you would like the option to use alternative milks such as soy and almond milk, we can provide a steam arm on the Carimali machine that can be used to froth those milks as well.
Does the machine have to be connected to water/plumbed?
No. The machine can be tanked, but we recommend plumbing the machines for simplicity of use and cleaning.
How big is the machine?
50 – 100 staff machine – HLF Machine: W 672mm x D 525mm x H 655mm (height can vary with different size hopper (bean cannister))
100+ staff machine – Carimali Machine is: W 648 (Including fridge) x D 560 x H 717mm
What if there is an issue with my machine?
Just give us a call on 1300 870 151 and we’ll come and service your machine to get you up and running asap.
What do you charge for break downs?
Service, maintenance and cleaning is included in our pricing. There are no additional costs for break downs.
Can we use different machines?
Yes, if you have a machine in mind that you are interested in using please let us know.
Can you service offices of more than 200 staff?
Yes, we service plenty of offices with more than 200 staff and across numerous floors. Get in touch to learn how we accommodate your needs.
Do we have to put in plumbing for the machine?
Larger offices that use fresh milk machine usually require a plumbed machine as it is easier to clean and operate, and doesn’t require constant refilling of water and emptying of the drip tray. If you would prefer not to plumb, the machines can be tanked as well.
Can we try your coffee?

Do we need to clean the machine?
No, not if you use our daily service. If you opt for our weekly service, you will need to clean the machine throughout the week. It’s very simple and we’ll show you how.
Do we need to fill the machine with product?
Yes, you may need to top up product even if you opt for our daily service. Don’t worry, it’s very easy and we’ll show you how.
How do I order?
You don’t need to order. We manage all the stock for you, and you pay by the cup just for the cups you drink.
When do you invoice?
We provide monthly invoicing.
Do I have to pay anything upfront?
No nothing. We invoice you only for the cups you consume as you use the machine.
Can you adjust the strength and temperature of the coffee?
Yes, we can adjust the strength, temperature and even the configurations of each drink to suit your taste.
